Making art is what makes me feel alive. It comes from a deep need to create that has been with me as long as I can remember. Colour is a principle element in my work, applied in layers, and created with an intention to surprise, evoke calming emotions and a sense of joy. Inspired by nature and seasons, signature botanical forms and organic shapes are always present, using a combination of painting processes and techniques. An ethereal quality is often a result of interplaying contrasting colours, harmony between objects and the space around them.
